Latest Updates from Our Project:

Rodger and Dana signed the box cover flat sheets
over 3 years ago – Mon, May 03, 2021 at 11:10:30 PM

Here's Dana holding one of the box sheet flats he and Rodger MacGowan signed. Dana's also holding the dice for the game – pre-packed in small ziplock bags for easy assembly and fewer lost dice!

BONUS – we are adding ziplock bags to hold the cards. This should make it easier to keep your decks sorted and organized.

We will update everyone when we go into final assembly later this month.

PLUS – this month (May) we plan to post the most recent version of the solo and 2-player rules, a second more detailed example of play, and additional FAQs.

Can you see the signatures near the bottom of the cover sheet?

Game components continue to arrive! Deluxe play mats ready for assebly.
over 3 years ago – Sat, Apr 17, 2021 at 05:29:52 AM

Yesterday, April 15, the deluxe play mats arrived at Dana's warehouse in California (see photos below).

Every game comes with paper play mats. The deluxe versions are printed on non-slip material similar to mouse pads.

The rest of the components should arrive by the end of the month (dice, rules, etc.). We can then assemble the games, put your add-on items into the boxes (that fit), and start shipping!

More updates to follow.

Funded in just 9 hours, 2 stretch goals unlocked the first day, plus add-ons available.

Why is Backerkit charging your credit card?
over 3 years ago – Thu, Apr 01, 2021 at 06:24:23 AM

Backerkit is charging your credit card for the SHIPPING of your copy of The Great War card game, plus any add-on items you ordered.

Every backer already paid for their game pledges back in December when Kickstarter charged your credit card.

We apologize for any confusion.

More updates will be posted as we receive the rest of the game components in April.

Backerkit is now processing credit cards for shipping costs and add-on items
over 3 years ago – Thu, Apr 01, 2021 at 06:20:31 AM

We wanted to wait and have Backerkit charge your credit cards after game components started to arrive in our warehouse.

We are hoping to ship finished games so that backers receive them in May.

Thanks for your patience and support!
