Future updates on the game's production schedule

Although the Kickstarter is ending, we will continue to add updates on the production schedule of MacGowan and Lombardy’s The Great War card game over the next few months. You should receive those updates from Kickstarter as we post them.
However, if you want to be certain you are getting the latest info (and learn about new cards and expansions as well as other projects we create), email [email protected] and subscribe to the Lombardy Studios newsletter. We don’t swamp our followers with emails, and you can unsubscribe any time you wish.

Everyone who pledged $34 or more will now receive the additional wild cards (mostly Jokers). Thanks for this incredible last-minute push!
If we don't unlock stretch goal #7 as part of the Kickstarter, it will be released as the first expansion in 2021 after the card game is published.
The backstory to this expansion, based on the science fiction story War of the Worlds by H.G. Wells, will be posted later today. Go here to download the PDF (the link will be under the "Examples of play" link).

Several supporters asked about add-ons. We are working with Backerkit to offer some interesting add-ons, including:
• Extra dice
• Extra decks of cards (along with cards from all unlocked stretch goals)
• Deluxe 1/16-inch thick Decks & Discards mat, and separate Battle Mat, both printed on non-stick mouse pad material
• Limited-edition box cover sheet signed by Rodger
• And a surprise or two...
